Tatsunori Hara

Hi, I’m Tatsunori.
Living with Sound – A Journey from Nagaoka

Surrounded by the calm air and rich nature of Nagaoka, Niigata, I spend my days deeply connected to sound. When I first heard the tone of a Mudra handpan, I was drawn to it—not just for its beauty, but for its warmth and nostalgic familiarity. It reminded me of a quiet note echoing through a snowy Nagaoka landscape, gentle and expansive

The sound of the handpan paints invisible landscapes. With each note, my breath slows, and a sense of stillness returns to me. Guided by this experience, I reached out to Rafael and ordered a Mudra. When it finally arrived, it felt more like a work of art than an instrument—its sound richer and deeper than I had imagined

Today, I travel from Nagaoka to various parts of Japan, carrying this sound with me. I hope to offer moments of calm and reflection through my music—sharing the quiet beauty I learned from growing up in a snowy town, translated into the voice of the handpan.
